The Imbolc Ritual Box

$55.00 AUD

The Witches Wheel of the year is a celebration of the flow of life. The changes in the wind, the air growing colder, the sun getting warmer, the fruits we plant, the flowers blooming, the leaves that fall, the warming food, the refreshing waves cooling us. We also remember those who have passed, embrace what we have and welcome those yet to join us. Each turn has its own magick and beauty. My goal is to bring you an experience that you can enjoy each sabbat, a ritual you can complete through out the day, to ground you into the current season, to allow you to connect with the present and to simply enjoy the moment.

The air around is still and quiet, each breath can be seen in the frost and for a moment we are in the inbetween. The deepest, darkest hours of Winter have past, but the warmth of the sun is still yet to be felt.

The wheel of the year has turned and we find ourselves at Imbolc.

This beautiful Sabbat is a time to celebrate the light at the end of the tunnel. You may see tiny buds on trees and plants starting to reach out towards the sun, whilst they will not bloom for a while, the growth has begun and they pushing towards their goal of blossoming and bringing colour to the world.

Imbolc is also closely associated with the Celtic Goddess Brigid. Known as a powerful triple goddess who rules the sacred flame of passion and creation. She is a beautiful goddess to work with when starting a new creative project and is often called in at Imbolc to help cleanse and bring protection and Magick to the home. This Ritual Box works closely with her and her beautiful energy.

This ritual box includes:

Mini Imbolc Candle: The first sign of Springs return in my garden is the sight and smell of the beautiful jasmine flowers. They fill the air with magick and life, reminding us to enjoy our day and find the beauty in all that is beginning to bloom around us. This candle is your own reminder, with the scent of jasmine ready to fill the air of your sacred space. On top you will find Jasmine buds bursting through, surrounded by lavender and violet leaves, a wish for peace and love for the warm days ahead. A piece Amethyst sits on top,  bringing healing after the colder days inside.

A Mini Brigid Ritual Oil: The Celtic Goddess of the Flame, a one time druid of the Tuatha De Denann and the keeper of the Cauldron, Brigid is one of the most sacred and loved of the Triple Goddesses. She is a goddess who is close to my heart as she is one of the very first energies I have worked with along my path, appearing to be at the top of a hill, placed into a stone cottage, working her magick as she stirred her cauldron round and round. She always appears to me in the form of a bee or a fox, her way of checking in and will always be there to share wisdom, correct errors or share her views and opinions (sometimes even is she wasn’t asked).

It has been said that there are three parts to Brigid - one who is in charge of poetry, inspiration and who invented the Ogham Alphabet. Another who aids in healing and midwifery and then the final part who is in charge of the hearth fire, blacksmiths, herbal medicine and other crafts. She is fierce and a true warrior, but can also be the gentle mother who will embrace you and fill you with warmth and care.

This ritual oil was created for Brigid as a tool to work alongside her magick, call her in when needed and as a daily devotional oil to thank her for her guidance. In this oil you will find a beautiful mixture of Cinnamon, cloves, chamomile and rosemary, as well as magickal oils such as orange, jasmine and a few secret pieces too.

These ritual oils can be used in a variety of ways such as:

  • Anointing magickal tools and an altar space.
  • Anointing oneself to call in her power and aid
  • A few drops in your ritual bath (a beautiful place for a meditation)
  • Placed on your third eye to connect with her during ritual work or meditation
  • Used as a daily offering for Brigid

Brigid Offering Candle: Th Brigid offring candle is a beautiful tool to use alongside  the energy of Imbolc and an ode to the sacred flame attached with Brigid herself. The Offering candles can be lit and left to burn. Some may use purely during ritual and if you would like to blow them out then that is ok too. These candles worked with in whatever way calls to you. Always keep your candle burning where you can keep an eye on it. Never leave them unattended.

This candle is dressed with: Cinnamon, Rose, Chrysanthemum, Oak

Imbolc Herbal Blend: This beautiful blend of herbs can be used as a magickal incense to burn in the lead up and also the day of Imbolc, it can also be left as an offering to Brigid, or whichever deity or energy you wish to call in. This blend contains Lavender, Bay, Chamomile, Copal and Frankincense, all of which contain properties of love, peace, clarity, protection and refreshment.

The Imbolc Book of Shadows Notes: A new addition to the ritual boxes, these notes are filled with information to ensure your Imbolc is as magickal and sacred as possible. Inside these pages you will find notes of the sabbat, information about the Goddess Brigid, an invocation to call her in, a Imbolc ritual and a recipe to make your own Imbolc butter.

A wish candle: This little bundle of magick is here to aid in your Imbolc ritual found in your notes, but can be used in whichever magickal way calls to you.

I hope you enjoy the Imbolc ritual box and that it aids in your connection with Brigid, embracing this refreshing turn of the wheel and bring an extra touch of magick to your day.
