The Imbolc Ritual Box
The Witches Wheel of the year is a celebration of the flow of life. The changes in the wind, the air growing colder, the sun getting warmer, the fruits we plant, the flowers blooming, the leaves that fall, the warming food, the refreshing waves cooling us. We also remember those who have passed, embrace what we have and welcome those yet to join us. Each turn has its own magick and beauty. My goal is to bring you an experience that you can enjoy each sabbat, a ritual you can complete through out the day, to ground you into the current season, to allow you to connect with the present and to simply enjoy the moment.
The air around is still and quiet, each breath can be seen in the frost and for a moment we are in the inbetween. The deepest, darkest hours of Winter have past, but the warmth of the sun is still yet to be felt.
The wheel of the year has turned and we find ourselves at Imbolc.
This beautiful Sabbat is a time to celebrate the light at the end of the tunnel. You may see tiny buds on trees and plants starting to reach out towards the sun, whilst they will not bloom for a while, the growth has begun and they pushing towards their goal of blossoming and bringing colour to the world.
Imbolc is also closely associated with the Celtic Goddess Brigid. Known as a powerful triple goddess who rules the sacred flame of passion and creation. She is a beautiful goddess to work with when starting a new creative project and is often called in at Imbolc to help cleanse and bring protection and Magick to the home.
This Ritual box embraces the beautiful calm and quiet energy of Imbolc.
This ritual box includes:
Mini Imbolc Candle: Nothing breathe peaces and calm quite like Lavender. So that's exactly what this candle has. Beautiful lavender magick will fill the air of your home, calming the space and protecting the area which keeps you warm and safe. On top you will find a piece of Amethyst which holds amazing healing properties, the perfect sidekick to the peaceful Superhero.
Brigids Cauldron Simmer Pot: When I first encountered the Celtic Goddess Brigid, she was standing over a cauldron, brewing and concocting magickal potions, humming away happily as she worked. So I felt it was only fitting to create a magical simmer pot blend in her honour so you too can have a cauldron to tend to. A blend of Cinnamon, Cloves, Rosemary, Bay and elderberries hold magick of good luck, protection, healing and good health. The perfect way to start on our pathway towards Spring.
Imbolc Bath Milk: Milk is a huge food association with Imbolc and there is so much you can create with it. But it also provides your skin so much nourishment and that's exactly the energy we are holding on to this Imbolc. I have create a bath milk blend for you to soak in and take a moment to simply breathe. Inside you will find Milk powder, Epsom Salt, Lavender, Rosemary and Chamomile.
Imbolc Wish Candle Bundle: Otherwise known as Candlemas, Imbolc is the perfect time to embrace candle magick, as the they represent the return of the sun. Inside your ritual box you will find three wish candles - purple, white and blue. They represent magick, healing and personal power. But can be used in your Imbolc rituals however you feel drawn.
Cinnamon Incense Packet: To me, Brigid and Cinnamon go hand in hand. So filling your home with Cinnamon is like calling her energy straight to you. Not only that but Cinnamon has the most magickal properties of Good Luck, Abundance, Success and Love...and it smells delicious.
Brigid BOS Card: Here is some extra information for your Book of Shadows all about the Goddess Brigid, including offering suggestions and an invocation to call her in on Imbolc.
I hope you enjoy the Imbolc ritual box and that it aids in your connection with Brigid, embracing this refreshing turn of the wheel and bring an extra touch of magick to your day.
